Preparing for What’s to Come: Hope in Prophecy

Bible prophecy is not meant to scare—it is meant to prepare. As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe that we are living in the closing scenes of Earth’s history. The prophecies of Daniel and Revelation reveal God’s plan for humanity and provide assurance that He is in control. At Sobo SDA Church, we study these truths to deepen our faith and readiness.

1. Prophecy Reveals God’s Sovereignty:
Through prophetic timelines and symbols, we see God’s hand moving through history, validating Scripture and strengthening belief.

2. The Role of the Three Angels’ Messages:
Revelation 14 calls us to worship the Creator, reject false systems of worship, and prepare for Jesus’ return. This is the heart of our mission.

3. Signs of the Times:
From natural disasters to moral decline, the signs around us align with Bible prophecy, pointing to the soon return of Jesus.

4. Understanding the Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God:
We study these prophetic themes not with fear, but with clarity—knowing that obedience to God is our safeguard in end times.

5. Living with Urgency and Hope:
While prophecy informs us, it also inspires us to live faithfully, share the gospel, and prepare spiritually for Christ’s second coming.

Conclusion:
Prophecy is a light that shines in dark places (2 Peter 1:19). As we study and understand the times we live in, let us hold fast to hope, stay grounded in truth, and live as watchful stewards of God’s soon return.
